Detailed product description

Specifications

  • Clean and sterilize the pacifier by placing it in a clean container, pouring boiling water over it and leaving it for about 5 minutes. Then remove it from the water and wait for it to cool. Due to the air hole, water can be trapped in the suction part, so gently squeeze the pacifier and squeeze out any trapped water.
  • Clean and sterilize the pacifier before each use by pouring boiling water over it. Do not use cleaning agents or wash in the dishwasher as this may weaken or damage the pacifier.
  • Never immerse the pacifier in sugary substances or medicine, as this can cause tooth decay. Do not leave the pacifier in direct sunlight or near a heat source, and do not leave it in disinfectant (“sterilizing solution”) for longer than recommended, as this may weaken the pacifier.
  • Replace the pacifier after 4-6 weeks of use for safety and hygiene reasons. Do not use the pacifier if it has changed color or has any irregularities.
  • If your child accidentally puts a pacifier too far into their mouth: STAY CALM. The pacifier cannot be swallowed and is designed to withstand this situation. Remove the pacifier as calmly and gently as possible.
  • The pacifier is made of silicone.

ADVANTAGES OF THE PACIFIER

Supports the natural sucking reflex

Sucking is an innate reflex and a strong need in babies – even when they are not hungry. A pacifier can help satisfy this need and soothe your baby.

Soothes and can help you fall asleep

Sucking often has a comforting and secure effect, making it easier for the baby to self-soothe. For some babies, it also helps them relax and fall asleep more easily.

Can provide comfort during discomfort

Gentle sucking can distract and soothe a baby during uncomfortable moments, such as teething or during short medical procedures.

Use at bedtime is associated with a lower risk of SIDS

Research shows that pacifier use at bedtime (naps and nighttime sleep) is associated with a lower risk of sudden infant death syndrome. The exact reason is not entirely clear, but it is often cited as one additional safe sleep practice.

May reduce thumb sucking

For babies who have a strong urge to suck, a pacifier can help reduce thumb sucking. It is usually easier to gradually break a pacifier habit than thumb sucking, which can be more persistent.
